Questions people ask
How long does a repair take?
Most screens, batteries and charging ports are done the same day when the part is in stock, often while you wait. Parts we order usually take 1–3 business days. Board repairs and water damage take longer; we give you a ready-by time at drop-off and you can follow it on our Track Your Repair page.
Do I need an appointment?
No, walk-ins are welcome. Booking a time just means we're ready for you. Book a Repair
What does the checkup cost?
When we can't price it without looking (won't turn on, water damage...), there's a $30 checkup. It only applies if you decline the repair.
Will I lose my data?
Most repairs don't touch your data, but any repair carries a small risk, so back up first (iCloud / Google). We never look through your phone. If we need your passcode to test it, it's encrypted and deleted when you pick up.
My phone got wet. What do I do?
Turn it off, don't charge it, and bring it in as soon as you can. Skip the rice. Water-damaged phones can fail again later, so these repairs have no warranty.
Do you need a deposit?
Only when we special-order a part, for board-level or data work, or for a few other cases. It comes off your bill at pickup.
How can I pay?
Cash or card in the store, store credit, or online from your repair page once it's ready.
What if I don't pick it up?
We text you when it's ready and remind you. After 60 days it's handled under our unclaimed-device policy.
What if a new part is faulty?
We test every part. If one is faulty we replace it at no cost and tell you if it adds any wait.
Our warranty
Eligible repairs have a free 90-day warranty from pickup, on the part and our work. Used phones we sell: 90 days. We repair or replace; no cash refunds on repairs.
Not covered: drops, cracks or bends after the repair; liquid damage; pressure damage to screens (lines, ink spots, bleeding, flicker, dead touch); torn flex cables; opened or repaired by someone else; software, data and account locks; problems not related to our repair; parts sold as no-warranty (your receipt says so).
